Where do I get my birth certificate?
You can obtain a copy from your local County Clerk. In New Braunfels it is the Comal County Clerk's Office – (830) 620-5501. A Birth Certificate can also be obtained from the Texas Bureau of Vital Statistics. They can be contacted at (888) 963-7111.

How do I register to vote?
You may download an application on the Secretary of State Elections Division website, pick up a form at the Voter Registration Office in any County, or pick up a form at City Hall.

The Comal Tax Assessor’s Office, 205 N. Seguin Avenue.

The local US Post Office has the application forms.

Where do I pay a traffic ticket?
A citation issued by a New Braunfels Peace Office may be taken care of at New Braunfels Municipal Court, 1486 S. Seguin Ave. (830) 221-4180.

How do I get copies of City records?
For most City documents, you should submit an Open Records Request to the City Secretary's Office. The form can be found on the City Secretary's Webpage. However, requests for documents from the Municipal Court (830-221-4180) or the Police Department (830-221-4100) should be forwarded directly to those departments.
