You can now file a police report online for the following crimes:
Accident reports are $6.00 (cash or check) and may be obtained in the following ways:
1. In Person at the Police Department during normal business hours (M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
2. By Fax - Send your request to (830) 608-2188
3. By Mail - Send your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to:

Requests for Public Information must be made in writing and should contain as much information as possible about the information you are requesting in order to expedite a response. Please remember that requests should be for documents or other information that already exists. Government organizations (like NBPD) are not required to answer questions, perform legal research, or comply with continuing requests to supply information on a periodic basis since that information has not yet been prepared. Written requests can be sent in by U.S. Mail, submitted online, or submitted in person at the New Braunfels Police Department Headquarters (550 Landa Street New Braunfels TX 78130). We recommend that you keep a copy of your request and proof of receipt for your personal records.

Officers with the New Braunfels Police Department are available while off duty to work as security for weddings, parades, 5K runs, and other special events. It is important to schedule officers for your event with as much notice as possible.

If you or a member of your family is hearing impaired, sight impaired, mentally or physically disabled, requires oxygen, non-English speaking, an Alzheimer's patient, or has another condition that would require a special emergency response please notify us so that we can provide the best emergency services possible.
Information will remain confidential and only be used by emergency response agencies.
