Planning & Development Services

Welcome to the City of New Braunfels’ development services website. Development is the multi-step process of preparing land for construction, through the final step of building homes, parks or businesses. It involves multiple city departments, various outside entities such as utility companies, and sometimes state agencies such as the Texas Department of Transportation. From this page, our customers can learn more about the different components of the development process, complete and submit applications for various steps in the process, and check the status of their projects.
