Dos Rios Watershed Clean-Up

The City of New Braunfels, with the help of local partners, is hosting the 1st Annual Dos Rios Watershed Clean-Up on Saturday, September 16th from 9am until noon.

  • Registration will begin at 8:30am.
  • Volunteers will meet at the Comal County Fair Grounds (701 Common St) & will then be transported to individual clean-up locations.
  • The event involves collecting litter from river banks, parks, and contributing watershed areas.
  • Breakfast, supplies, and t-shirts will be provided to volunteers.

Your help is needed to ensure that our local rivers and creeks are kept in good condition. Remember it is up to all of us to do our part to keep our waterways clean.

Busy on September 16th?

You can still help! As a way to further our efforts to preserve the integrity of our watersheds, the City of New Braunfels will be introducing the Adopt-A-Spot River Clean-Up program, a program to raise public awareness, educate citizens, and generate community involvement by adopting a spot along the river to clean. Details to be available on our website soon...
